Tazor Mobile App Privacy Policy
Effective October 20, 2026
This policy covers the Tazorapp for iPhone, iPad and Android ("the app"), the mobile app of Tazor. It is operated by solidauto ("we", "us"), which is responsible for your personal data as described here.
The app is another way into the same Tazor account and workspaces as our website. It handles the same data, plus a few things only a phone app needs: notifications, the microphone for calls, photos you choose to share, and data stored on your phone. This page is complete on its own; our general Privacy Policy says the same about everything else.
When your organization uses Tazor, the workspace owner decides what goes into the workspace and who can see it. For that content we process data on the workspace owner's behalf.
1. At a glance
| Data | Collected? | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Name, email address, profile picture | Yes | Your account; shown to your teammates |
| Workspace content (tasks, messages, files, photos you share) | Yes | The service itself |
| Push notification token, device name, platform | If notifications are on | Delivering notifications |
| Microphone audio | Only during calls | Calls with your team; recorded only if someone in the call presses Record |
| Photos, videos and files | Only the ones you pick | Sharing them in your workspace |
| Payment details | No (entered with Razorpay on the web) | — |
| Location, contacts, browsing history, advertising ID | No | — |
| Tracking you across other apps or websites | No | — |
2. Data we collect
Account data. Your email address, name, username, and optionally phone number, job title, time zone and profile picture. A password (stored only as a one-way hash) or a Google / single sign-on identity.
Workspace content. Everything you and your teammates put into a workspace: projects, tasks, comments, documents, files, messages, time entries, check-ins, calls and call recordings, and their summaries.
Billing data. Your plan, seats and subscription status. Payment card or UPI details are entered with Razorpay and never reach our servers.
Messages to us. What you send through the contact form or the in-app support dialog, and our replies.
Device data. If you allow notifications, the app sends us your device's push notification token, its platform (iOS or Android) and its name (for example "Priya's iPhone"), so we know where to deliver notifications and you can tell your devices apart. Like any app that talks to a server, our servers also see your IP address and the requests the app makes, which we use to run and secure the service.
The app contains no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting software of its own, and it doesn't read your location, contacts or other apps' data.
3. Permissions the app asks for
The app only asks when you use the feature that needs it. You can say no, or change your mind later in your phone's Settings; the rest of the app keeps working.
- Notifications: to tell you about new messages, assignments, mentions, calls and other updates you have turned on.
- Microphone: for calls with your team. Audio is used only while you are in a call. It travels encrypted between the people in the call, directly or through our relay server, and is recorded only if someone in the call presses Record; everyone in the call then sees a recording badge.
- Photos and files: to share pictures, videos and documents in chats and tasks. The app gets only the items you pick, and uploads them to your workspace.
- Google account (if you choose "Continue with Google"): Google tells us your name, email address and profile picture so we can sign you in.
4. Data stored on your phone
- Your sign-in tokens and the workspace you last used, so you stay signed in.
- A copy of workspace data you have opened, your app preferences, and which chats you have read, so the app opens quickly.
- Signing out removes your sign-in tokens and stops notifications to that phone. Deleting the app removes everything it stored.
5. How notifications are delivered
We send notifications through Expo's push service, which passes them to Apple (iPhone, iPad) or Google (Android) for delivery. A notification contains its title and a short text, such as the start of a message, and the page it opens. Turn notifications off in the app's settings or in your phone's Settings.
6. How we use it
- To provide the service: sign you in, store and show your workspace, send notifications you have turned on, and run the integrations you connect. (Necessary to perform our contract with you.)
- To bill paid plans and send receipts and trial reminders. (Contract; legal obligations for financial records.)
- To keep the service secure: rate limiting, audit logs, detecting abuse. (Our legitimate interest in a safe service.)
- To fix errors and understand which features are used, so we can improve them. (Legitimate interest.)
- To answer you when you contact us.
7. What we don't do
- We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising.
- We do not use your workspace content to train AI models.
- We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
8. Service providers
We use these providers to run Tazor. Each receives only the data it needs and may use it only to provide its service to us.

We may also disclose data when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
9. Where data is stored
Our providers may store and process data in countries other than yours. Where data leaves your country, we rely on the safeguards the law requires, such as contractual clauses with the provider.
10. How long we keep data
- Account and workspace data: while your account is open.
- When you delete your account, we delete your profile and, if you own a workspace, the workspace and everything in it, straight away. Content you added to other people's workspaces stays there, shown as from "Deleted user".
- Database backups are kept for 30 days, so deleted data is fully gone from backups after that.
- Billing records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Security audit logs: up to one year.
- Support messages: up to two years after the conversation ends.
- Push notification tokens: until you sign out of the app, turn notifications off, Apple or Google report the device is gone, or you delete your account.
11. Deleting your account
You can delete your Tazor account, and the data described in "How long we keep data", at any time:
- In the app, go to Settings → Delete account;
- sign in on our website and go to Settings → Security → Delete account; or
- email solidauto202@gmail.com from the address on your account, and we will delete it within 30 days.
If you own a workspace, deleting your account deletes the workspace and everything in it. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account.
12. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, object to or restrict some processing, and withdraw consent. You can do most of this yourself:
- Correct your details in Settings → Profile.
- Export a copy of your data (JSON) in Settings → Security → Your data. Workspace owners can export the whole workspace there too.
- Delete your account in Settings → Security → Delete account (in the phone app: Settings → Delete account).
- Emails: turn notification and digest emails off in Settings → Notifications, or with the unsubscribe link in any of them.
For anything else, email solidauto202@gmail.com. We answer within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
13. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed, sign-in codes expire and are single use, and access inside a workspace follows the roles its owner sets. Backups are encrypted. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will tell you as the law requires.
14. Children
Tazor is a work tool and isn't meant for anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect their data; if you think we have, contact us and we will delete it.
15. Changes to this policy
We will post any change here and update the effective date. If a change is significant, we will also tell account owners by email or in the app before it takes effect.
